My summit to the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro was a success thanks to all the help, guidance and support I received from Endeavor Expeditions. From the very beginning Jim and Kristi helped me prepare for this trip of a lifetime from even the smallest of details, making themselves available for any questions or doubts I had, guiding me the entire way. On the mountain, Jim’s extensive military and mountaineering expertise made me feel safe, secure, prepared and confident. Each day Jim ensured everyone in our group was well hydrated, nourished and prepared physically and mentally for our day ahead.
Their team in Africa is truly amazing and extremely experienced and knowledgeable. The guides, cooks and porters supported, motivated and took care of us every step of the way. They made my trip even more special with their happy, caring and humble spirits. Another highlight was Kristi leading yoga in the mornings helping us prepare for the feat ahead of us.
“I can’t say enough good things about Endeavor Expeditions and their team and thanks to them I was able to accomplish a bucket list dream come true.”
I am forever grateful for this incredible experience! I can’t wait to join them again on future expeditions.

I never could have anticipated all that my African adventure would prove to be. The trip forever changed me, led me to a new level of enlightenment and enlarged my sense of gratitude for my good, comfortable and fulfilling life. The combination of both climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and safari through the Serengeit and the Ngorongoro Crater was the best mix of adventure, a deep experience of inversion in the culture and luxurious experience. I have never been more impressed with travel partners such as Endeavor Expeditions and Wander Africa.
“Their experience, contacts and passion made for not only the most exclusive feeling trip but one that was seamless and thought through.”
The inversion with the local people and tribes, plus the opportunity to be in the natural habitat of the majestic wild animals of Africa is an experience all humans should experience. Truly life changing. Africa captured my heart. I am already planning my next visit.

My involvement with Endeavor expeditions is a unique one. I am a professional photographer and was invited to be on the Mt Kilimanjaro Summit journey. My experience started days before the climb working with the porters, their families and the guides at their humble homes. I have traveled into 3rd world locations all over the globe but have never felt this sense of love and human trust that I felt here. Going to the houses I was able to also meet the kids of the porters and guides. These beautiful children of all ages, religions and ethnic backgrounds. All dressed and clean in the best attire to greet us. I was able to meet Brighton, a young 9 year old handsome young man who helped me with a go pro during a quick photo session. What I was not aware of at the time was that his mom was going to be my personal porter to carry my camera gear to the summit with me.
I could go on forever about this life changing experience but to sum it up: my experience with Jim and Kristi and the Endeavor expeditions team was top notch.
“I felt that experience was safe and the team was always willing to accommodate and try to make sure that we were always as comfortable as possible.”
The porters and guides were the most sincere people I have ever been around, full of joy literally every step of the way. Because of The Kids of Kilimanjaro I am now able to help Brighton have an education and have pledged to pay for his schooling until he graduates."

“Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro is so much more than climbing a mountain. Jim and Kristi of Endeavor Expeditions are incredible leaders who are experienced, kind, compassionate, discipled and no nonsense in their quest to get you to the top safely!”
Then you meet the African guides and porters and you learn the true meaning of compassion, hard work, resilience, and joy from people that live incredibly humbly. You become family and they treat you better than you have ever been treated in your life. Being able to continue to be part of the family you are welcomed into and help the children of these amazing porters and guides go to school through contributing to The Kids of Kilimanjaro is an incredible honor and privilege.
